Five healthcare facilities were temporarily shut down in Abu Dhabi after serious violations were found during routine inspections by the Department of Health.

These facilities were closed temporarily and all staff were suspended, pending referral to the Public Prosecution for investigation.

Violations included issuing sick leave certificates without proper medical examination or patient attendance in exchange for payment, manipulating medical records, employing unlicensed practitioners, and breaching licensing requirements.
