    Bank of Korea holds interest rate for seventh straight time

    SEOUL, 10th April, 2026 (WAM) — The Bank of Korea decided today to keep its key interest rate unchanged amid inflation challenges, currency weakness and slowing growth.

    Yonhap News Agency reported that the Monetary Policy Board of the Bank of Korea maintained the base rate at 2.5 percent at its latest meeting.
