Dubai: Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed a series of traffic enhancements on Latifa bint Hamdan Street aimed at increasing road capacity and improving traffic flow for motorists in the area.

According to the RTA, the works included the addition of a new lane along the service road across two key sections with a combined length of 1,000 metres.

The first section extends from the Al Asayel Street intersection to Street 44, while the second section runs from the National Cement Factory area to the First Al Khail Street exit.

The project also included the construction of two new U-turns beneath the intersection of Latifa bint Hamdan Street and Al Asayel Street, providing motorists with greater flexibility and improving traffic circulation.

The upgrades form part of the RTA’s ongoing efforts to enhance Dubai’s road network, increase capacity on key corridors and improve mobility for residents and visitors.
