24K gold reaches AED529.75 per gram, while silver trades at AED7.72 per gram amid strong precious metals markets
Dubai: Gold prices in the UAE continued to trade at elevated levels on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold reaching AED529.75 per gram, according to updated retail rates.
The price of 22-karat gold stood at AED490.50 per gram, while 21-karat gold was priced at AED470.25 per gram.
Meanwhile, 18-karat gold was trading at AED403.25 per gram, and 14-karat gold reached AED314.50 per gram.

The gains come as global gold prices continue to hover near record levels, with futures contracts approaching $4,500 per ounce amid shifting expectations surrounding US monetary policy.
Jewellery prices may vary among retailers depending on making charges, design and brand premiums. Gold and silver spot prices also fluctuate throughout the trading day in line with movements in international markets.
