    Arab Media Summit 2026 gains backing from major UAE institutions

    Dubai Press Club names nine new partners as preparations accelerate for the region’s largest media gathering

    Dubai: Dubai Press Club (DPC) has announced the addition of nine leading national institutions as partners for the Arab Media Summit 2026, reinforcing support for the region’s largest media event ahead of its September edition.

    The summit will take place from 15 to 17 September 2026 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.

    The newly announced partners are:

    • Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) – Mobility Partner
    • Dubai Chambers – Global Commerce Partner
    • ENOC Group – Energy Partner
    • Dubai Customs – Trade and Economic Partner
    • Emirates – Airline Partner
    • Emirates NBD – Banking Partner
    • Dubai Courts – Leading Partner
    • Dubai Municipality – Future City Partner
    • du – Telecommunication Partner

    Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, President of the Dubai Press Club and Chairperson of the Arab Media Summit Organising Committee, said the partnerships reflect the growing recognition of the media’s role in supporting development and shaping the future.

    She noted that Dubai’s national institutions have played a key role in building a globally recognised success story that has strengthened the emirate’s soft power and international standing.

    Mattar Al Tayer, Director General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority, said the media remains a key partner in the development journey, helping raise awareness, transfer knowledge and highlight achievements.

    He added that the Arab Media Summit provides an important platform for dialogue on the future of media, including the role of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in enhancing media competitiveness.

    Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said effective economic media helps connect markets, opportunities and businesses while strengthening confidence in cities as investment destinations.

    He said Dubai Chambers’ partnership reflects its commitment to supporting platforms that highlight Dubai’s opportunities and contribute to the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

    Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Municipality, said media organisations play an important role in communicating the transformations shaping future cities and promoting Dubai’s achievements to international audiences.

    Mansoor Al Sabahi, CEO of Mada Media, and several other leaders from partner organisations highlighted the importance of collaboration between media institutions and key sectors, including telecommunications, banking, trade, transport, aviation and energy.

    Maryam Al Mulla, Director of Dubai Press Club, said the summit reflects Dubai’s collaborative approach, which has contributed significantly to its achievements across various sectors and strengthened its position as a centre for thought leadership and future-focused dialogue.

    The 2026 edition is expected to be the largest in the event’s history and will feature:

    • Government Communication Forum
    • Arab Social Media Influencers Summit
    • International media forums

    The summit will also honour excellence through the Arab Media Award, which marks its silver jubilee this year, alongside the Arab Social Media Influencers Award and the Ibda’a – Arab Youth Media Award.

    Previously announced partners include DP World as Strategic Partner, DEWA as Sustainability Strategic Partner, the National Media Authority as National Partner, and the Mohamed and Obaid Almulla Group and American Hospital Dubai as Strategic Healthcare Partner.
