Suhail Hasanain, Senior Director and General Manager, MEA, NetApp.

The company will demonstrate unified storage and built-in data protection capabilities designed to help Saudi organisations securely scale AI across hybrid multicloud environments.

NetApp has announced its participation at LEAP 2026, taking place from 31 August to 3 September at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, Saudi Arabia.

The intelligent data infrastructure company will showcase how the NetApp Platform enables organisations to make their data AI-ready and secure while supporting demanding workloads across hybrid multicloud environments.

Saudi Arabia’s designation of 2026 as the Year of Artificial Intelligence comes as organisations across the Kingdom increasingly integrate AI into business operations and develop the capabilities required for wider deployment. Growing adoption means enterprise data is distributed across multiple environments, creating challenges related to access, management, governance and security.

“Saudi Arabia is rapidly emerging as one of the world’s most ambitious AI markets, with investments that are not only transforming the Kingdom but helping shape the next generation of AI infrastructure globally,” said Suhail Hasanain, Senior Director and General Manager, MEA at NetApp.

“AI is moving from experimentation to large-scale production, and the competitive advantage will increasingly depend on data, how quickly organisations can access it, govern it, protect it and make it available to AI wherever it resides. NetApp is focused on helping organisations in Saudi Arabia unlock their enterprise data for AI securely and at scale across hybrid and multicloud environments.”

Saeed Alzahrani, Country Manager, Saudi Arabia, NetApp.

NetApp will also highlight its approach to proactive data protection, including AI-driven security capabilities designed to autonomously detect threats and accelerate recovery.

“Enterprises need to ensure they are always protected with AI-driven, built-in data security that autonomously detects threats and guarantees rapid recovery,” said Saeed Alzahrani, Country Manager, Saudi Arabia at NetApp. “Security must be embedded into the data itself, not just the perimeter. NetApp provides autonomous, AI-driven defence mechanisms that detect, protect and recover data better and faster than ever before.”

LEAP brings together technology leaders, businesses, investors, startups and innovators to examine developments across AI, fintech, smart cities, health technology and education technology.

Visitors can find NetApp in Hall 1 at LEAP 2026.
