Starting from Dh5,099 for the iPhone 18 Pro and Dh5,499 for the iPhone 18 Pro Max, here’s everything UAE buyers need to know before pre-orders open on September 12
Dubai: Apple revealed that the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will be available for pre-order starting Saturday, September 12, with global release beginning on September 18.
In the UAE, customers will be able to pre-order the new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max with prices starting from Dh5,099 and Dh5,499 respectively, according to Apple’s website. The phones will go on sale in the UAE on Friday, September 18, with storage options of 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB. Customers will be able to choose from four colours: Burgundy, Glacier, Silver and Black.
In the United States, Apple is offering a discount of up to $1,200 (Dh4,407) for those trading in an iPhone 14 or later model. In the UAE, customers using Apple trade-in offers for iPhone 13 or later versions can receive between Dh640 and Dh3,260 in credit.
New to the iPhone
Apple has introduced a number of improvements to the phone’s cameras, artificial intelligence capabilities, Siri, and other aspects. The company also launched its new Apple Upgrade program, which allows customers to pay for the phone in monthly instalments over 12 or 24 months, with the option to upgrade to a new iPhone at the end of the program.
The new generation comes with an A20 Pro chip and a new-generation vapour chamber cooling system, along with what Apple describes as the longest battery life in iPhones to date.
The camera saw one of the most significant leaps, with a 48-megapixel main camera and a variable aperture that allows about 50% more light in low-light conditions, in addition to professional tools for shooting, shutter speed control, and AI-powered object tracking.
Apple also redesigned the Dynamic Island in a smaller size, and it is now able to display three live activities at the same time, such as flight status, maps and timer.
The phone comes with iOS 27, which includes improvements to search, connectivity, and child safety features, along with up to 80% faster file transfer speeds via AirDrop.
Apple has added a new feature that allows the use of one phone number on two iPhones, with the service starting with T-Mobile and Deutsche Telekom, before other telecommunications companies join later.
