    Fair to partly cloudy weather expected across UAE with chance of fog on Monday morning

    Temperatures could reach 47°C in inland areas, while humidity may lead to fog or mist formation in some coastal and internal regions

    Abu Dhabi: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast fair to partly cloudy weather across the UAE today, with clouds expected to develop eastward and light to moderate winds freshening at times.

    According to the NCM weather bulletin, humid conditions are expected during the night and on Monday morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a possibility of fog or mist formation.

    Temperatures are forecast to range between 39°C and 44°C in coastal and island areas, 43°C and 47°C in inland regions, and 30°C to 36°C in mountainous areas.

    Winds are expected to be southeasterly to northeasterly, blowing at 10 to 25 km/h and reaching up to 35 km/h at times.

    The NCM said sea conditions will be slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

    Four-day outlook

    Monday, 14 September

    Fair to partly cloudy conditions with clouds developing eastward.

    Chance of fog over some coastal areas during the night and Tuesday morning.

    Winds of 10 to 25 km/h, reaching 35 km/h at times.

    Tuesday, 15 September

    Fair to partly cloudy weather with clouds developing eastward and southward, with a possibility of convective cloud formation.

    Humid conditions at night and Wednesday morning with a probability of mist formation over some coastal areas.

    Winds of 10 to 25 km/h, reaching 35 km/h.

    Wednesday, 16 September

    Fair to partly cloudy weather with afternoon cloud development eastward and southward.

    Chance of humidity and mist formation over some coastal areas during the night and Thursday morning.

    Winds of 10 to 20 km/h, reaching 30 km/h.

    Thursday, 17 September

    Fair to partly cloudy conditions with afternoon cloud development eastward and southward.

    Humid conditions at night and Friday morning over some coastal areas.

    Southeasterly winds becoming northwesterly at 10 to 20 km/h, reaching 30 km/h at times.

    The NCM said weather conditions are being influenced by a weak surface pressure system accompanied by an extension of an upper-air high-pressure system.
