Shenzhen event to spotlight digital economy growth, AI, investment and trade opportunities between Dubai and China
Dubai: Dubai Chambers has announced the agenda for the upcoming Dubai Business Forum – China, which will be held in Shenzhen on 14 October under the theme “Momentum at Scale: Accelerating Shared Success.”
The forum will bring together business leaders, investors, policymakers, experts and government officials from Dubai and China to explore opportunities across trade, investment, technology and innovation in support of the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
The event aims to accelerate economic cooperation between Dubai and China by creating new opportunities for trade, investment and cross-border collaboration. It will also highlight Dubai’s competitive advantages as a strategic base for Chinese companies seeking to expand into regional and global markets.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in sector-focused discussions, business meetings and networking sessions designed to support long-term partnerships and cooperation.
Strengthening a strategic partnership
His Excellency Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said the relationship between China and Dubai is evolving beyond traditional trade ties.
“The partnership between China and Dubai is evolving rapidly, moving beyond well-established trade ties towards a broader platform for investment, innovation, and shared value creation. The Dubai Business Forum – China provides a unique opportunity to build on the momentum of our commercial ties and develop new partnerships across the sectors shaping the future of the global economy,” he said.
He added that Dubai offers an integrated business ecosystem that supports Chinese companies looking to expand across regional and international markets while benefiting from opportunities in artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, logistics, smart mobility and digital platforms.

The Shenzhen event marks the fifth international edition of the Dubai Business Forum and the second edition held in China. The previous China edition took place in Beijing in August 2024 and attracted more than 800 business leaders.
Dubai Chambers said the forum forms part of its efforts to strengthen cross-border economic cooperation, attract foreign direct investment to Dubai and expand trade and investment opportunities between Dubai and key global markets.
