    UAE weather to remain fair with chance of fog and mist: NCM

    Temperatures could reach 48°C inland, while fog and mist are expected in some coastal and internal areas during the coming days

    Abu Dhabi: The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast generally fair weather across the UAE, with partly cloudy conditions at times, particularly in eastern areas.

    According to the latest weather bulletin, humid conditions are expected during the night and on Monday morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog or mist formation, especially westward. Winds will be light to moderate.

    Temperatures are forecast to range between 37°C and 42°C in coastal and island areas, 43°C and 48°C in internal areas, and 29°C to 35°C in mountainous regions.

    Relative humidity is expected to reach 70% to 90% in coastal and internal areas and 60% to 80% in mountain areas.

    The NCM said southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow at speeds of 10-20 km/h, reaching 30 km/h at times.

    Four-day forecast

    Monday, September 21: Fair to partly cloudy weather, with cloud development over eastern areas that could become convective in the afternoon. Humid conditions with a chance of fog or mist are expected overnight and on Tuesday morning in some coastal and internal areas. Winds may reach 35 km/h, while seas will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.

    Tuesday, September 22: Fair to partly cloudy conditions, with a probability of convective cloud formation in the east during the afternoon. Fog or mist may form on Wednesday morning in some coastal areas. Winds could reach 35 km/h, and seas will remain slight.

    Wednesday, September 23: Fair to partly cloudy weather with convective clouds possible over eastern and southern areas during the afternoon. Humid conditions are expected overnight and on Thursday morning over some western areas, with a possibility of mist formation. Winds may reach 35 km/h.

    Thursday, September 24: Fair to partly cloudy conditions. Humidity is expected overnight and on Friday morning in some coastal areas, with a chance of mist formation. Winds may reach 30 km/h, while seas will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
