Redington Gulf, the leading technology aggregator, announced recently that it has signed a strategic collaboration agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS), aimed at accelerating AI adoption in the Middle East, Türkiye and Africa (META) region.

Redington Gulf recently achieved the AWS AI Services Competency and AWS Digital Sovereignty Services Competency, validating Redington Gulf’s ability to support customers and partners across AI-led transformation, sovereign cloud requirements and broader cloud modernisation initiatives. Redington Gulf now holds six AWS Competencies including the AWS Migration and Modernisation Consulting, the AWS SAP Consulting Competency, the AWS Small and Medium Business Services Competency and the AWS Security Consulting Competency.

Under the agreement, Redington Gulf will help customers adopt and scale cloud and AI solutions with AWS. The focus will be on removing complexity across the technology journey by identifying the right solutions, accelerating deployment and supporting customers as they scale. As part of the agreement, Redington Gulf will act as a distributor, working with other AWS Partner Network (APN) members in the region. By orchestrating technology, expertise and market access, Redington Gulf will help organisations turn cloud and AI investments into faster adoption, stronger business outcomes and long-term growth.

“Our relationship with AWS has continued to evolve alongside changing customer priorities, and this SCA marks the next phase of that journey”, said Sayantan Dev, Chief Executive Officer, Software Solutions Group, Redington. “It opens new opportunities in areas such as agentic AI, with a strong focus on high-growth markets such as Saudi Arabia. It also enables us to help our partners in the META region scale faster, build stronger capabilities, and expand access to solutions through AWS Marketplace. This is orchestration in action: connecting technology, expertise and market access to create greater choice for customers and drive scalable business outcomes”.

“This is a collaboration designed to accelerate cloud and AI adoption across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East,” said Afaf Chekkar, Director EMEA Strategic Partners, AWS. “Redington Gulf’s regional expertise can be a key enabler of rapid innovation, providing customers with new routes to adopting solutions that have a material impact in growing business value”.

Looking ahead, Redington Gulf will work with AWS to develop new pathways for Redington Gulf’s partners and customers to access emerging technologies, build new solutions leveraging AWS services and address evolving market needs.
