The UAE air defences engaged 15 ballistic missiles and 11 drones launched from Iran on Thursday March 26, the country’s Ministry of Defence said in its daily update on the war. “Since the start of the blatant Iranian attacks, UAE air defences have engaged 372 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1,826 UAVs,” the ministry clarified. Over 100 motorcycles were seized in Fujairah on Thursday amid recent intensified traffic campaigns against traffic violatiors in the emirate, as part of sustained efforts to ensure road safety and maintain public order. OpenAI has decided to discontinue its Sora video app in a move which will result in terminating a $1 billion licence agreement with The Walt Disney Company less than four months after being agreed. In a post on X from the official Sora account, the company confirmed it was shuttering the service, which became publicly available in late 2024 and launched as a standalone service in September 2025. “To everyone who created with Sora, shared it and built community around it: thank you”, the company wrote.
