Sharjah Police apprehended a driver caught performing dangerous stunts and reckless driving in a residential area of the emirate, the authority announced on Saturday (May 9). Scientists at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) have identified a protein that acts as a master regulator of fat tissue health. When this protein does not function properly, the body develops fat cells that are abnormally large, leading to obesity and a host of other health problems. A man has been ordered to pay compensation totalling Dh60,000 after he was found guilty of repeatedly harassing another man through persistent phone calls that caused emotional distress and mental suffering.
