When Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, conceptualised the Dubai World Cup (DWC)\ in 1993, his vision was to bring the world’s finest horses to the emirate.
