Due to pressure from Chinese regulators Apple has reduced its commission on purchases in its App Store to 25% from 30% in the country. For reference, China is Apple’s third-largest market. In a statement, Apple also announced the commission for in-app purchases under its App Store small business and mini apps partner programmes will drop from 15% to 12% cent. The changes go into effect on 15 March 2026 and apply to apps for iOS and iPadOS. According to a recent report from Dell’Oro Group, Cisco enjoyed a market lead for indoor Wi‑Fi 7 access point (AP) revenue share in 2025. Research Director Sian Morgan attributed Cisco’s lead to its aggressive pricing and faster‑than‑expected enterprise adoption of Wi‑Fi 7 technology, which she stated is growing faster than any of the company’s previous WLAN generations. “But there is still a long adoption runway ahead and we expect Wi-Fi 7 revenue to keep growing across the market in 2026,” Morgan stated. A man currently serving a prison sentence has been ordered to repay Dh150,000 he obtained through fraud and pay Dh10,000 in compensation to the victim, following a ruling by an Abu Dhabi court. The case came before the Abu Dhabi Family, Civil and Administrative Claims Court after the victim filed a civil lawsuit demanding the return of the money he said had been taken from him through deceptive means, along with compensation for the damages he suffered.
