According to RTA, the figure covers the five-day holiday period from May 25 to May 29 and includes ridership across Dubai Metro, Tram, buses, marine transport, taxis, and shared mobility services. Dubai Metro accounted for the largest share of passengers, with its Red and Green Lines serving 3.3 million riders. BRUSSELS, 1st June, 2026 (WAM) – Over six years, iron ore imports from third countries fell by 11.3%—from 77.9 million tons in 2020 to 69.0 million tons in 2025, according to data published today. The peak was reached in 2021, when shipments rose by 20.2% year-over-year to 93.6 million tons, likely reflecting the post-crisis recovery in demand in the metallurgical sector following 2020.
