British Airways will resume London-Dubai flights on November 3 with daily winter service, rising to twice daily in summer, as the airline rebuilds UK-UAE connectivity amid Middle East unrest and ongoing safety reviews

British Airways is preparing to resume flights to Dubai from November 3, restoring part of the air connectivity between the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates after services were suspended amid regional unrest.

The airline will operate one daily flight between London and Dubai during the winter season. The frequency will increase to two daily flights during the summer season as part of a gradual return to its regional services. British Airways had earlier postponed the resumption of Dubai flights from October 25 to November 3.

British Airways’ flights to Abu Dhabi will remain suspended until the 2027-2028 winter season, reflecting the airline’s gradual approach to restarting its network in the region.

British Airways suspended flights to the UAE on February 28, 2026, after war broke out between the United States and Iran. The airline subsequently postponed plans to resume services several times due to continued regional instability.

The airline said it continues to monitor developments in the Middle East and update its flight schedule to provide greater clarity to customers. It stressed that the safety of passengers and crew remains the priority in decisions on flight operations.

During the unrest, the airline said it helped thousands of passengers return home, operated relief flights and added capacity on a number of major long-haul routes.

British Airways’ return to Dubai is part of a series of schedule adjustments by international airlines in the region, as carriers continue to reassess operations in light of developments affecting regional airspace.
