Partnership aims to strengthen collaboration in Agentic AI, support business expansion from Dubai and boost innovation between the UAE and India
Dubai: Dubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) to advance cooperation in Agentic AI and support the growth and expansion of Indian companies specialising in the technology from Dubai.
The agreement seeks to strengthen collaboration between Dubai and India’s Agentic AI ecosystems by fostering strategic partnerships, facilitating knowledge exchange and launching joint initiatives focused on emerging technologies.
Under the MoU, both parties will work together to connect leading Indian companies specialising in Agentic AI and deeptech with business, investment and partnership opportunities in Dubai, supporting their regional and international expansion.
The cooperation will also include the organisation of specialised business events and initiatives designed to enhance engagement between companies, investors and entrepreneurs in both markets.
His Excellency Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said: “Dubai’s efforts to support the private sector’s transition towards Agentic AI represent a pioneering global initiative to strengthen the competitiveness of the business community and help companies capitalise on advanced technologies and their applications in the future economy.”
He added: “As part of Dubai Chambers’ role in implementing this initiative, we are expanding international cooperation and partnerships to build an integrated ecosystem that supports the adoption of Agentic AI by businesses, enhances efficiency and productivity, and creates new opportunities for economic growth. These efforts will further strengthen Dubai’s leadership in advanced technologies and accelerate their adoption across business models in all sectors.”
NASSCOM represents India’s technology sector, valued at approximately US$315 billion, and has more than 3,500 member companies ranging from startups to multinational corporations.
The agreement supports Dubai Chambers’ ongoing efforts to drive the adoption of advanced technologies within the private sector. In June, Dubai Chambers established the Executive Committee for Agentic AI to accelerate the adoption of Agentic AI technologies and strengthen the readiness of businesses to adapt to global technological developments.
The committee is tasked with approving specialised Agentic AI training programmes, supporting the development of AI-focused companies, establishing incubators for Agentic AI ventures and promoting knowledge-sharing initiatives that enhance private-sector competitiveness.
The initiative also aims to reinforce Dubai’s position as a global hub for the digital economy, innovation and future industries.
