Roundtables highlight Dubai’s strengths in digital economy and advanced technologies as chamber deepens India ties

Dubai: Dubai Chambers hosted a series of roundtable discussions in Bengaluru, India, attended by 71 investors, to showcase investment opportunities in Dubai and strengthen trade and investment ties with the Indian business community.

The sessions focused on opportunities across a range of sectors, particularly the digital economy, advanced technologies, Agentic AI and deeptech, highlighting Dubai’s position as a hub for innovation and business expansion.

During the visit, a Dubai Chambers delegation led by His Excellency Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, held eight meetings with business and investment organisations and multinational companies.

    The meetings included engagements with:

    • Confederation of Indian Industry – Karnataka State Council (CII Karnataka)
    • Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI)
    • Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry – Karnataka State Council (FICCI Karnataka)
    • Several multinational companies

His Excellency Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah said: “Dubai and India share a longstanding partnership that continues to gain momentum. We are working to deepen trade and investment cooperation across priority sectors and strengthen engagement with business communities throughout India, including in Karnataka.”

He added that Dubai offers Indian investors and entrepreneurs a competitive environment for innovation, growth and expansion into regional and global markets.

The roundtables showcased Dubai’s advanced infrastructure, business-friendly environment and integrated ecosystem for entrepreneurship, investment and financing. Discussions also explored opportunities for Indian companies to expand into Middle Eastern, African and international markets from Dubai.

Dubai International Chamber expanded its presence in India with the opening of a representative office in Bengaluru in 2025, complementing its first Indian office in Mumbai, which opened in 2018.

The Bengaluru office supports direct engagement with the Indian business community, strengthens relationships with public and private sector stakeholders and promotes Dubai as a leading global business destination.

Dubai Chambers said the visit forms part of its ongoing efforts to deepen engagement with strategic international markets, strengthen cross-border partnerships and create new opportunities for investment and business cooperation between Dubai and India.
