Airline says recent initiatives have expanded travel flexibility, while Arabian Travel Market 2026 prepares to host more than 210 speakers across 80 sessions
Dubai: Emirates has recovered 93 per cent of its flight capacity during August and approximately 98 per cent of its global network, according to Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of the airline.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market 2026 conference, which begins next week, Kazim said Emirates recorded more than 8.7 million travellers during July and August, reflecting strong demand for travel during the summer period.
Kazim said the airline has recently introduced a number of initiatives designed to enhance travel flexibility and give customers greater control over their travel plans from booking through to arrival.
He explained that the latest measures include free changes to travel dates, lower ticket refund fees and comprehensive travel insurance, which he described as the first of its kind in the sector, providing customers with greater flexibility and peace of mind when planning their journeys.
This year’s Arabian Travel Market 2026 will feature more than 210 speakers from the public and private sectors across the Global Stage, Future Stage and Experience Hub.
More than 80 sessions are scheduled, covering topics including resilience and international cooperation, artificial intelligence, aviation and connectivity, hospitality, traveller behaviour, investment, sustainability and business events.
