New partnership gives scholarship recipients access to discounts and offers across multiple sectors in the UAE and internationally

Dubai: Dubai Police’s Esaad Card Centre and the Hamdan bin Mohammed Scholarship Programme have signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) to extend Esaad card benefits to students enrolled in the programme.

The initiative will provide scholarship recipients with access to exclusive offers and discounts across participating companies and institutions in the commercial, tourism, entertainment, healthcare and education sectors, both within the UAE and internationally.

The agreement was signed during the orientation day for the third cohort of students in the Hamdan bin Mohammed Scholarship Programme. Colonel Salah Al Marzouqi, Director of the Esaad Card Centre, and Dr Amna Almaazmi, CEO of Growth and Human Development at the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), signed the memorandum in the presence of Her Excellency Aisha Miran, Director General of KHDA and Chair of the Steering Committee of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Scholarship Programme.

The two organisations said the partnership reflects the vision of the UAE leadership and the strategic priorities of the UAE and Dubai governments, which place people at the centre of development.

They added that the initiative supports high-achieving Emirati students and recognises their role in shaping the future and strengthening the UAE’s global competitiveness.

The programme also aligns with the objectives of the Education 33 (E33) Strategy, which focuses on recognising academic excellence while providing practical support throughout students’ educational journeys in the UAE and abroad.

Officials said the partnership reinforces the importance of investing in young talent and empowering Emirati students to innovate and contribute to sustainable development.

The collaboration forms part of broader efforts by Dubai Police and the Hamdan bin Mohammed Scholarship Programme to strengthen cooperation between national institutions and support shared goals.

By providing students with a comprehensive support system and a range of benefits throughout their studies, the initiative aims to offer additional motivation and help students translate their knowledge and ambitions into meaningful contributions to their communities and the country.

Part of the Dubai Social Agenda 33, the Hamdan bin Mohammed Scholarship Programme selects 100 high-achieving Emirati students annually from government and private schools across different curricula to study at leading universities in the UAE and abroad.

The scholarships focus on disciplines aligned with labour market needs and national development priorities, supporting Emirati economic participation and strengthening the UAE’s human capital ecosystem.

The programme has been allocated a total budget of AED1.1 billion over the coming years.

Launched by Dubai Police in March 2018, the Esaad Card is a loyalty programme that offers holders a wide range of discounts and benefits across multiple sectors.
