In times of uncertainty, the digital landscape often becomes a whirlwind of “doomscrolling” and unverified rumours. So when familiar faces step up to challenge that narrative with messages of hope and stability, it can feel like a much-needed anchor.

From media moguls to entrepreneurs, these notable personalities are reminding the public to find the “glass half full” by prioritising official information, staying safe at home, and leaning into the deep sense of gratitude that defines life in the UAE.

    Anas Bukhash

Entrepreneur and interviewer Anas Bukhash chose to speak about what he called a “calm confidence” in the nation’s leadership and authorities.

In a video shared on his feed — one that quickly drew hundreds of supportive comments — he reflected on the trust many residents feel.

“For every person who’s chosen this country as their home, for the 200-plus nationalities … it’s really nice to see how they’re hopeful, they’re calm. They’re so trusting of this country and nation,” he shared in the video.

    Kris Fade

As the voice of morning radio for millions, Kris Fade has utilised his massive global reach to act as a stabilising force for residents and their families abroad.

Through frequent updates on Instagram, Kris has provided a consistent message of reassurance, sharing that he and his family are “safe and following all government instructions” to comfort a following that spans the globe.

This personal outreach was followed by official video statements from Virgin Radio, where Kris reminded listeners that everything remains under control and urged them to verify any social media claims through official channels before sharing.

    Mona Kattan

Entrepreneur and beauty mogul Mona Kattan took a softer approach to the situation, shifting the focus from the chaos of the news cycle to the power of community and faith.

In a moving post shared with her millions of followers, she highlighted that difficult times are a catalyst for unity and collective strength.

Part of her message read: “Now is the time to come together in prayer. Let us lift our voices for the safety of our loved ones, our families, our homes, and our communities,” followed by quotes that further reaffirmed the message of strength and solidarity.

    Ebrahim Al-Samadi

Known for his bold presence and business ventures, Ebrahim Al-Samadi offered a message of fierce loyalty and optimism in his trademark assertive style.

He shared a series of stories followed by a powerful feed video captioned with the sentiment that character is truly revealed in times of uncertainty.

The video on his feed was captioned:

“In times of uncertainty, character is revealed.

My loyalty to the United Arab Emirates is not seasonal.
It is rooted in faith, gratitude, and responsibility.

    We reject fear.
    We reject division.
    We stand united.

May Allah protect the UAE — its leadership, its people, and its future — and preserve upon it the blessing of safety and stability.”

    Karen Wazen

Even while facing the personal stress of being stuck outside the country due to airport closures, fashion icon Karen Wazen remained hopeful and filled with gratitude towards UAE’s leadership.

She candidly shared that it had been a “very difficult 24 hours” being separated from her family, yet she used her platform to praise the nation’s protective measures. Expressing relief that her children were safe at home, she shared ”I’m so grateful to the UAE for how they’re handling the safety and well-being of their residents.”

These voices serve as a vital reminder that while we must remain vigilant and follow official guidelines, there is immense strength in our collective resilience. By choosing hope over hearsay, the UAE community continues to prove that even in the face of adversity, we are safer and stronger together.
