New flagship series combines 5.5G connectivity, advanced imaging and all-scenario smart experiences

Dubai — Huawei has unveiled its new HUAWEI Pura 90s Series at its Flagship Product Global Launch Event held at the Museum of the Future in Dubai.

The latest flagship smartphone series introduces ultra-fast 5.5G connectivity and an upgraded imaging system, highlighting how next-generation smartphones and advanced intelligent networks can deliver faster, smoother, and more reliable mobile experiences in the UAE.

Huawei also announced the HUAWEI FreeClip 2 Special Edition and the HUAWEI MatePad Air, expanding its all-scenario ecosystem with products designed to support photography, creativity, productivity, and everyday connected experiences.

The HUAWEI Pura 90s Series places advanced imaging at the centre of the user experience.

Guided by Huawei’s Rhythm of Colour design philosophy, the series combines clean design lines with a layered colour palette and a Dual-Tone Gradient Mid-Frame to create a distinctive visual identity.

The series also introduces major camera upgrades, including a 200MP Ultra Large Sensor Telephoto Camera and True-to-Colour Camera 2.0. These features are designed to deliver clear, stable and consistent results across long-range photography, macro shots, and challenging lighting conditions.

Huawei also introduced the HUAWEI MatePad Air, positioned as a lightweight device for productivity and creative workflows. The tablet features PC-level productivity capabilities and an integrated suite of AI tools, including WPS AI. The intelligent office suite supports online collaboration, while its AI writing tool can generate topics, create outlines, refine content and draft documents.

Equipped with an Ultra-clear OLED PaperMatte Display, the HUAWEI MatePad Air delivers vibrant visuals and strong clarity for users creating, working or consuming content. With a slim 5.3mm profile and flagship-level performance, the device is designed to bring PC-level productivity into a portable form factor.

The HUAWEI FreeClip 2 Special Edition was also launched with a focus on fashion, comfort and everyday audio use. Inspired by Huawei’s Luminous Aesthetics design philosophy, the device combines metallic lustre with organic tones and is available in two colourways: Deepsea Blue and Space Silver.

Its new Luminous Charging Case, developed through more than 100 precision manufacturing steps, features a refined rounded silhouette. Combined with Huawei’s open-ear listening experience, the FreeClip 2 Special Edition is designed to deliver clear listening and calling performance for daily use.

Together, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series, HUAWEI FreeClip 2 Special Edition and HUAWEI MatePad Air underline Huawei’s focus on building a more connected all-scenario ecosystem. The company said the new products are designed to help users capture meaningful moments, express personal style, improve productivity and enjoy a more seamless connected experience across everyday scenarios.

Huawei said it will continue to evolve its ecosystem to support diverse user needs and deliver smarter, more efficient connected experiences.
