Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, was briefed on Sunday on the UAE’s foreign trade report for the first nine months of 2026.

His Highness said: “For the first time, our foreign trade is approaching AED 3 trillion in nine months, an increase of 10% over the previous year, while our exports to the top 10 trading partners have increased by 31%.”

Writing on his official account on X, His Highness said: “Today, I reviewed the UAE’s foreign trade report for the first nine months of 2026. For the first time, our foreign trade is approaching AED 3 trillion during nine months, an increase of 10% over the previous year. Our exports to the top 10 trading partners increased by 31% over the previous year.”

His Highness added: “In a year that witnessed many economic and political challenges and changes in global trade, the UAE remains a major hub for international trade. It continues to deal flexibly and efficiently with all the changes around it. The UAE continues to strengthen its network of relationships, expand its export markets, and chart its unique and rapidly accelerating path towards sustainable economic growth.”

His Highness concluded: “This is an achievement for which we congratulate the President of the State, all national work teams, and our partners who bet on our success.”
