Saudi Arabia’s flagship tech event LEAP moved to August

The organisers of LEAP, one of the world’s most attended technology events, has confirmed that LEAP 2026 will run from 31 August to 3 September 2026 at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Centre in Malham, Riyadh.

Saudi Arabia’s flagship technology conference LEAP has been moved from April to August.

Although there is no direct reference to it in the official press release, the decision to move LEAP has been primarily influenced by the disruption that has been caused due to the ongoing conflict across the Middle East region.

The decision to run LEAP at this time follows extensive consultation with partners and stakeholders, and will ensure the fifth edition of LEAP continues to deliver the world-class experience it is known for, including the highest quality international speaker faculty, investor base, and global audience, as well as the unique platform it provides for showcasing future-defining technologies, delivering new ideas, and forging meaningful partnerships.

Since its launch in 2022, LEAP has rapidly grown into one of the world’s most influential platforms for technology and innovation, bringing together hundreds of thousands of attendees, thousands of technology companies, and global decision-makers from almost every country.

The 2026 edition will continue to build on that momentum, convening founders, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore the technologies shaping the future, from artificial intelligence and cloud computing to deep tech, gaming, and digital infrastructure.

“LEAP has always been about bringing the world’s most ambitious minds together to shape what’s next,” said Annabelle Mander, Executive Vice President at Tahaluf and Co-creator of LEAP. “Hosting LEAP 2026 through early September ensures we continue to deliver the global participation and world-class experience that our community expects.”

Further announcements regarding speakers, partners, and programme highlights will be revealed in the coming months as preparations continue for what is expected to be the most impactful edition of LEAP to date.

We look forward to welcoming our community to LEAP 2026 later this year, and to working together with our partners to make it the best edition yet.
