Saudi Business Machines (SBM), the Kingdom’s leading provider of end-to-end enterprise information technology and telecommunications solutions, is showcasing an integrated technology experience alongside its global technology sponsors at LEAP 2026, taking place from August 31 to September 3 at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Centre in Malham.

Under the theme ‘Explore Every Dimension of Digital Transformation’, SBM is welcoming visitors at Hall 3, Booth H3.I30.

The participation reinforces SBM’s commitment to empowering public and private sector organisations to turn ambitious digital strategies into secure, scalable and measurable business outcomes supporting Saudi Arabia’s ‘Vision 2030’ agenda. At LEAP 2026, SBM is demonstrating practical applications, facilitating expert engagement and championing partner-led innovation across artificial intelligence, data and analytics, cybersecurity, cloud, enterprise software, intelligent infrastructure and immersive technology. The company is also spotlighting IBM’s AI-ready infrastructure portfolio, including IBM LinuxONE Emperor 5, IBM Power Systems, IBM Storage Systems and IBM z17, alongside an interactive foosball experience powered by IBM watsonx.ai.

Homegrown advanced technology solutions built for enterprise impact

The event highlights how SBM’s Advanced Threat Protection Centre (ATPC) supports integrated security operations, continuous threat monitoring, testing, automation and specialist expertise, enabling organisations to anticipate and respond to evolving cyber risks. Furthermore, SBM’s AI & Data Intelligence Hub highlights how organisations can establish trusted data foundations, leverage analytics and business intelligence and scale AI and machine learning capabilities across their operations.

LEAP 2026 further highlights SBM’s cutting-edge suite of in-house solutions by Techxagon, SBM’s Digital Transformation and R&D Centre, offering end-to-end AI capabilities for businesses operating across diverse sectors. These include Maxera, which creates comprehensive and interactive 3D digital twins of assets, facilities and operations; Sedra, SBM’s full-stack Conversational AI platform built on IBM watsonx.ai and Watsonx Orchestrate; Rabet, supporting API enablement and hybrid integration; and Waleed, SBM’s Gen AI solution designed to automate processes and enhance customer experiences.

Also on display are Miqyas, an AI-powered digital maturity platform that assesses compliance across frameworks like Qiyas, SAMA and NORA; in addition to Metaverse Lab, a virtual 360-degree environment featuring digital twins and AR/VR capabilities.

Essam Alshiha, CEO of SBM, stated: “LEAP is a dynamic platform for transforming technology-led ambitions into practical outcomes. We are bringing our local market experience, in-house innovation and a robust global sponsor network to the event, enabling Saudi organisations to deploy AI responsibly, strengthen cyber resilience, modernise core operations and build the infrastructure required for sustained digital growth. This seamlessly aligns with our broader mission to strengthen the Kingdom’s digital ecosystem by supporting the adoption of advanced technologies. We further remain fully dedicated to empowering businesses across the nation by providing transformative digital solutions”.

Global technology sponsors strengthen SBM’s LEAP showcase

SBM’s participation is further strengthened by the support of its global and regional technology sponsors, each contributing specialised capabilities to address the evolving needs of Saudi organisations. IBM, as the Strategic Sponsor, anchors the showcase with its mission-critical, AI-ready infrastructure and enterprise technologies, supporting performance, resilience, security and hybrid-cloud transformation across highly regulated and data-intensive sectors.

The Premier Sponsors are HCLSoftware and IFS. HCLSoftware brings enterprise software capabilities spanning AI and intelligent operations, cybersecurity, data and analytics, total experience and business and industry applications. Building on its strategic partnership with SBM in Saudi Arabia, IFS highlights industry-focused cloud enterprise software and Industrial AI for enterprise resource planning, enterprise asset management and field service management.
