ABU DHABI, 19th March, 2026 (WAM) — The Ministry of Defence announced that UAE air defence systems are currently responding to missile attacks and drones launched from Iran.
The ministry confirmed that the sounds heard in various areas across the country are the result of interceptions carried out by air defence systems against ballistic missiles, and by fighter jets against drones and cruise missiles.
