On March 25, UAE residents can expect partly cloudy to cloudy weather, according to a forecast by the country’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Convective clouds will form, which means there will be rainfall of different intensities over scattered areas. This will be accompanied by an increase in temperatures gradually, NCM noted.

Temperatures will range between 20ºC and 28ºC in Abu Dhabi, while they will range between 20ºC and 27ºC in Dubai.

Light to moderate winds will blow in a southeasterly to northeasterly direction. The winds will be fresh at times, with a speed of 15 to 30kmph, reaching 50 kmph, causing dust and sand to blow.

The sea will be slight to moderate, becoming rough at times, with clouds in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.

The UAE is experiencing unstable weather, with heavy rain pouring across several parts of the country, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and other areas.

On March 24, Dubai Police reported that between Monday at 6am and Tuesday at 6am, they handled 17,494 emergency and non-emergency calls due to the unstable weather.

Meanwhile, Sharjah announced on March 24 that the public parking fee exemption, initially introduced on March 23, will be extended until further notice due to unstable weather conditions.

Authorities have urged residents to take necessary precautions, including driving carefully, avoiding standing water, and staying alert to weather changes.
