Diplomatic adviser says the region cannot remain trapped between war and peace, stressing that future stability must be grounded in international law, sovereignty and peaceful coexistence
Abu Dhabi: Dr Anwar Gargash, diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, said the region “cannot remain indefinitely in a state of neither war nor peace” and stressed that future stability must be based on international law, peaceful coexistence and respect for sovereignty.
In a post on X, Gargash said the upcoming phase should not be built on “shaky foundations or arrangements detached from international law.”
He added that the goal is “to transition to sustainable stability governed by clear and shared rules.”
