Dubai: Dubai Municipality has introduced a new waste collection approach in residential neighbourhoods as part of its ‘My City, My Environment’ project. Instead of shared community containers, each home will now have two dedicated bins — one for general waste and one for recyclables. Each container carries a barcode that allows the Municipality to track collections, monitor how much waste each household produces and measure how much it has reduced over time. Dubai: Nakheel, a member of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded Parkway International Contracting LLC a construction contract valued at more than AED 950 million for Phases 2 and 4 of Bay Grove Residences on Dubai Islands.The contract covers 617 homes ranging from one to four-bedroom across eight residential buildings, together with basement works, associated infrastructure and amenities including swimming pools, sports courts and fitness centres.
