Abu Dhabi: Q Mobility, in collaboration with LuLu Hypermarket, has announced the activation of a smart park system at LuLu’s Khalifa Street branch (Al Falah Plaza) in Al Ain. The initiative aims to enhance the shopping experience and provide greater convenience by using advanced digital solutions to simplify parking and payment procedures.

The initiative reflects LuLu Hypermarket’s commitment to continually improving the customer experience and providing a convenient, integrated shopping environment. The collaboration with Q Mobility, which provides smart park management solutions, will help facilitate vehicle movement and make more efficient use of parking spaces at retail destinations.

The new system offers shoppers a seamless smart park experience using AI-powered automatic number plate recognition technology. Parking duration and applicable fees are calculated automatically, with charges deducted directly from the user’s wallet in the DARB app upon exit, without the need to send text messages or use conventional payment machines.

The activation of the system at LuLu’s Al Ain branch marks an important step in extending smart park solutions to more retail and key destinations across the emirate. It also highlights the importance of collaboration between smart service operators and the retail sector in enhancing the customer experience and delivering more integrated services that support digital transformation and improve quality of life in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Q Mobility encouraged parking users to ensure they have sufficient funds in their DARB e-wallets to enable seamless automatic payments and benefit from the system’s features.
