(L-R) Aurelien Dif, Commercial Director DTE (EMEA and APAC) at Beontag & Steve Lockie, Managing Director of TechBridge MEA.

TechBridge MEA, a leading Channel Value-Added Distributor (CVAD), recently announced a strategic distribution partnership with Beontag, a global manufacturer of self-adhesive materials and smart tags including UHF RFID, NFC and BLE, to expand access to Beontag’s portfolio across the Middle East and Africa (MEA).

The partnership comes as RFID adoption continues to gain momentum across the Middle East, particularly in the GCC markets, with Saudi Arabia and the UAE emerging as key growth markets. Retail modernisation, logistics digitisation, healthcare traceability, aviation, and government-led digital transformation initiatives are driving demand for technologies that provide greater visibility, identification, tracking, and operational efficiency.

Beontag offers a broad portfolio of RFID, NFC and other smart-tag solutions such as BLE, designed to connect physical products and assets with digital systems. Its solutions support applications across retail, logistics and supply chain, industry and manufacturing, fashion, healthcare, automotive, and other sectors, helping organisations improve inventory visibility, automate identification and tracking, strengthen traceability, and enable new connected experiences.

Aurelien Dif, Commercial Director DTE (EMEA and APAC) at Beontag, said: “The Middle East is an important growth market for RFID, with strong momentum across retail, logistics, industry, healthcare, and other key sectors. As customers increasingly look for shorter lead times, local support, and application expertise, having the right distribution partner becomes essential to accelerating market development. TechBridge’s strong Auto-ID focus, channel expertise, marketing capabilities, and entrepreneurial approach make it well positioned to help us expand our presence in the region. We are excited to work together to bring Beontag’s broad portfolio and engineering expertise closer to customers and partners across the MEA market”.

Steve Lockie, Managing Director of TechBridge MEA, added: “RFID is becoming an increasingly important technology for organisations looking to improve visibility, traceability, and operational efficiency across their businesses. Beontag brings significant experience, a broad portfolio, and the ability to address a wide range of applications across retail, logistics, industry, and other sectors. This partnership strengthens our Auto-ID portfolio and gives our channel partners access to proven solutions that can address the growing demand for RFID and smart-tag technologies across the region”.

With more than four decades of market experience, Beontag combines product engineering, development, and manufacturing expertise with a broad portfolio designed to address diverse application requirements. Its RFID portfolio includes standard inlays and labels, specialty labels, hard tags, on-metal solutions, and sustainable RFID products, supporting applications ranging from item-level retail tracking to demanding industrial and logistics environments.

The partnership also addresses the growing need for stronger local support as RFID adoption accelerates across the region. Through TechBridge’s established channel network and regional capabilities, Beontag can reach target customers more efficiently while providing partners with access to technical assistance, application support, and a broader range of RFID solutions.

Together, TechBridge and Beontag aim to accelerate the adoption of RFID and smart-tag technologies across the Middle East, supporting organisations as they modernise operations, improve supply chain visibility, and connect physical assets and products to digital processes.
