UAB has reported a net profit of AED333 million for 9M 2026, up 6% year-on-year, demonstrating the resilience of its business model and prudent risk management practices amidst ongoing regional geopolitical uncertainty and an overall challenging operating environment. Asset quality metrics significantly improved during the quarter as a result of successful resolution of delinquent loans.
The non-performing loans ratio (NPL) improved to 0.5% from 2.7% at end-June 2026, with provision coverage strengthening to 338% from 101% at end-June 2026.
