Dubai: Are you ready to enjoy rainfall over the next three days?
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts fair to partly cloudy weather, in general, with a probability of convective cloud formation over some eastern and northern areas, which may be associated with rainfall.
Rain-bearing clouds are expected to develop over some parts of Sharjah, Fujairah and Khor Fakkan, with a likelihood of rain this afternoon, as well as tomorrow and on Friday.
Humidity rising
Meanwhile, temperatures are holding steady in the mid-30s across the UAE, with a spike in maximum relative humidity (RH) to 90% in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, and 85% in Dubai.
The NCM expects humidity to build up by tonight and on Thursday morning over some coastal and internal areas, so there’s a high chance of fog or mist formation in cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah will reach a high of 35°C today, while Sharjah will peak at 34°C. Umm Al Quwain will reach 33°C, Ajman 32°C, and Fujairah will remain the coolest emirate at 31°C.
Slight sea conditions
Here are the sea conditions along both eastern and western coasts, according to the NCM:
Arabian Gulf: Western shores will experience slight to moderate sea conditions, with wave heights reaching up to two feet on-shore, and up to four feet off-shore.
Oman Sea: The eastern coastline of the UAE will see slight sea conditions, with calm waves rising up to two feet on-shore, and up to three feet off-shore.
